Explored in depth the Middle East Conflict. After previously viewing “Encounter Point” about reconciliation efforts from an Israeli and Palestinian perspective. Dr. Shaul Gabbay and Dr. Amin Kazak discussed the implications of this video as well as the conflict in Gaza. Representing the Israeli perspective was Dr. Shaul Gabbay, the Director of the Institute for the Study of Israel in the Middle East (ISIME) at the University of Denver (DU). Dr. Gabbay is a former commander in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
Representing the Palestinian perspective was Dr. Amin Kazak, Palestinian by birth and an American citizen, Dr. Kazak is currently writing a book: “Identity of the Palestinians: People in the Making.”
