Shaul Gabbay Becomes a Citizen

The Institute for the Study of Israel in the Middle East (ISIME) is pleased to announce that Executive Director, Dr. Shaul Gabbay is becoming an American Citizen on Thursday, June 21 at 12:30 p.m.
He will be taking the oath of citizenship at a ceremony in the auditorium of Teikyo Loretta Heights Theater.
Shaul Gabbay has been the Executive Director of ISIME, the Institute for the Study of Israel in the Middle East since 2007.
He was born to Jewish Iraqi and Yemenite refugees in Israel where he lived until doing doctoral and postdoctoral work in the United States at Columbia University and the University of Chicago.
Shaul Gabbay has brought ISIME to a prominent position in the Denver area through teaching courses, bringing in impressive arrays of speakers, and being the Middle East correspondent on local TV stations.
