Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Pam straddled the world of Jewish family values amidst a Christian community. “There was a painting of Jesus at the front of every classroom in my public elementary school, and I recited the Lord’s Prayer along with my classmates at the beginning of every day. My parents taught me my religious and cultural identity along with unequivocal respect for others.”
Solomon has degrees from Northwestern University and the University of Colorado, coupled with years of training in digital film production. “It’s Israel’s survival that drives me now,” explains the determined director. “There is no question in my mind that the work of ISIME is vitally important. By delivering educational opportunities that promote the understanding of complex issues facing Israel, and building bridges across cultures, ISIME will continue to be a an important catalyst for peace in the Middle East.”
