**Dr. Samer Talozi, Jordan
Dr. Talozi is a faculty member in the Bioenvironmental and Irrigation Engineering Department at the Jordan University of Science and Technology. He teaches courses in crop science, water, irrigation, GIS and statistics. He is working to implement practices that protect, improve, and sustain the agricultural and water resources of Jordan. His talk: The Introduction of New Crops to Arid and Saline Zones in Israel and Jordan.
**Dr. Clive Lipchin, Israel
Dr. Lipchin focuses on trans-boundary environmental problems facing Israel, Jordan, and the Palestinian Authority in such fields as sustainable agriculture, water management, ecology, geology, alternative energy and climate change. With Jordanian, Palestinian, and European partners he was the principal Israeli investigator for a regional water and land management study of the Dead Sea basin. His talk: Striving Toward Excellence in Transboundary Environmental Management: The Model of the Arava Institute.
**Dr. Nader Al-Khateeb, Palestinian Authority
Nader Saleem Al-Khateeb is Director of the Water and Environmental Development Organization, the foremost Palestinian organization of experts on water and environmental issues and Director of the Palestinian branch of Friends of the Earth Middle East. His talk: Monitoring Transboundary Palestinian-Israeli Streams: Implications for Cooperative Management Strategies.
**Shmuel Brenner, Israel
Dr. Brenner is a principal investigator of a major regional air quality study involving Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority. He was a founder of the Israeli Ministry of Environmental Protection. Playing a major role in the peace process with the Palestinians, he was responsible for the environmental chapter in the Oslo Accords. His talk: Decoupling environmental problems from the overall aspects of political disputes - Is it possible? --The case of trans-boundary air pollution.
